The expanding family of this client wanted an increase in their condo square footage. Not wanting to leave their idyllic Lincoln Park neighborhood, the plan is to expand into the adjacent unit. Working in the 1889 building, MGLM Architects successfully navigated the historic structure and provided the client with an addition that unified the two units into a single home with two stories spanning the full length of the building, all while giving the client a home with a Victorian sensibility and modern amenities.
