This design was an RFP which asked for low-income senior housing with a community element integrating an empty site and a historic building. MGLM Architects developed units that have ample access to natural light and air as well as the incorporation of a community winter garden on the roof for year-round plant cultivation. The design also repurposed the adjacent police station into a community center complete with a public library and a small medical campus.
