MGLM Architects developed a series of 1,200-1,800 sq.ft. houses with the purpose of providing handsome, dignified homes to those with modest means.  This is largely achieved through the combination of efficient floor plans, practical room sizes, and modern amenities, along with smart architectural detailing of both the interior and exterior.  The houses are ideally suited for traditional neighborhoods, where their front porches serve as an additional room, enlivening the street and encouraging daily interactions.  Construction costs: $50/sq.ft.
